Visiting Peyrieras Exotic Reserve in Madagascar was such a cool experience! This place is like a playground for anyone who loves reptiles and unique wildlife. We spent the day surrounded by some of Madagascar’s most fascinating creatures, and the best part? We actually got to interact with them. The reserve is home to chameleons, geckos, lizards, and even snakes, and we were able to get up close with all of them. Holding a chameleon in my hand and watching its slow, deliberate movements was amazing—they’re like little aliens with their swiveling eyes and sticky feet. The geckos were just as fun to interact with, especially the leaf-tailed ones, which are masters of camouflage. We also got to see (and hold!) some snakes. It was thrilling to feel their smooth, cool skin as they wrapped gently around our hands. The staff at the reserve were so knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable while teaching us all about the animals we were playing with. Aside from the hands-on fun, walking around the reserve was a treat in itself. The enclosures are lush and well-maintained, and the variety of creatures here is incredible. It’s such a great way to see Madagascar’s unique reptiles up close and learn more about them in a safe and fun environment. If you’re in Madagascar, Peyrieras Exotic Reserve is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re a reptile enthusiast or just curious, getting to hold and interact with these amazing animals is an experience you won’t forget!
