Obsession with Açaí

So, Jared and I have completely fallen in love with Brazilian açaí—like, we’re obsessed. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever had back home. The first time we tried it, we were hooked instantly. The flavor is just so rich and fresh, and it’s become our daily treat. Seriously, we’ve been eating it every single day. We even went to the grocery store and bought a few gallons to keep in our freezer because we can’t imagine going a day without it now. We’ve been experimenting with different toppings—sometimes we keep it simple with just granola, other times we add fresh fruits like bananas and strawberries. No matter how we dress it up, it’s always delicious. Jared jokes that he’s probably about 35% açaí at this point, which honestly might not be too far off! If you haven’t tried real Brazilian açaí, you’re seriously missing out. It’s nothing like the stuff you get in the States. It’s smoother, richer, and just so satisfying. We can’t get enough of it and honestly, I’m already wondering how we’re going to cope when we leave Brazil. It’s definitely one of those little things that makes this trip extra special.
