El Poblado, Medellín, Colombia

El Poblado has completely stolen our hearts! This neighborhood in Medellín is the epitome of vibrant energy. The first thing that hits you is how alive it feels—there’s always something happening. Jared and I loved wandering through the streets, especially Parque Lleras, which is like the social hub of the area. It’s the kind of place where you can sit at a cafe with a cup of coffee and just people-watch for hours. The mix of modern and traditional architecture is fascinating; one moment you’re walking past sleek, upscale stores, and the next, you’re admiring charming, old-world cafes. We found some incredible restaurants here too—each meal was a new adventure, with flavors that are still lingering in my mind. El Poblado really feels like the heartbeat of Medellín, and it’s a place you could easily spend all day exploring without getting bored. We soaked in the nightlife, shopped till we dropped, and basically just enjoyed the best of what Medellín has to offer. If you ever find yourself in the city, you absolutely have to spend time here—it’s the perfect blend of excitement and charm!
